Zune Cables

Microsoft has introduced yet configuration that adds to the mix of portable media players. The unusual cable configuration usually would mea that the consumer has to only the official manufacturers’ cable. But for the Zune AV cables, you have the Archos, gigabeat, creative Zen vision, M/W, Cowon iAudio and the Apple iBook AV cable. They all have the same pinpoint configuration so they all are interchangeable. The standard camcorder cables are of a different configuration and the ipod videos have another sort of pinpoint configuration.

It is great news for the Zune owners that the AV cables are similar to the standard camcorder cable and the ipod video. This helps in swapping of the cables easily with the Zune systems. The key to do this swapping of the cables is the ground. If the ground is the same, then no major modifications is needed to the cable. Just simple swapping of cable colors will help you to solve the problem.
